aaaaahh i think i am about to loose it...lol...

i have almost 9 different looks coming for this Music Video..i am creating all the looks, from clothes to shoes to jewelry to every detail...and pretty much the whole concept! i think i need to fly to NYC or LA to shop some stuff!!lol...am so blessed i have amazing team with me! and all my lovely friends are helping with me.... cant tell you how excited i am for this one!!!!.....from tomorrow i will start spending most of my time in dance studio...creating the dance and moves for "Down On the Floor" song... meetings with director, test shootings, shopping more...need to hit every Vintage store in Finland, lol.. visit Helsinki, meet my two amazing bad kitty dancers ;)........its gonna be fun! very excited for 2012!!!!

This is how it all started...

at 18 i moved to LA, by my self, without knowing anyone...trying to find someone to see my talent, the first 2 months i got robbed almost raped..the landlord who i rented my apartment from, blackmailed me money that i had collected in Finland being a waitress and dancer, so i had to buy those 1$ crackers for breakfast,lunch and dinner...he also..brought hookers from street and fucked them in my living room, while i was in bed room crying and trying to close my ears...

Every person in music industry i tried to meet, wanted to use me..it was all about sex & drugs..and evil people!.. i realized very quick that either you sell your soul.. or u work hard!

i was about to give up...on everything i dreamed of since i was a little girl.

Everything that i saw and went thru made me this strong women that i am today.

i remember crying and..asking my self...why em i doing this to my self.. and every time i had the same answer.

" i am fighting for my Dream, i wont give up"

South Central, LA,California.

Finally Grammy producer Los Damystro found me on Mysapce and called me,( he had worked with Artist like Withey Houston, Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown...etc)

i singed to him on the phone and the first thing he said to me was

" Helly pack your bags i am flying you to NYC Tomorrow"

the next day he took me to Major record labels.. (Universal, Warner Brothers,Deff Jam, Interscope... and told them the words.. that even surprised me..at that moment

"this girl will be a Star"

since then ive been working on my Music...

i took me awhile to really find out, who i was as a Artist, and what i wanted to do.

also the day that i wont ever forget was.. when i met the amazing writer The Dream..(the same guy who made Rihanna - Umbrella and Beyonce - Single Ladys)

He is most respected writer in the music bizz today, and i wont ever forget how i felt stepping in to that room, where he was..and i knew i had to perform for him.

All i remember is.. that i singed my heart out and gave my all, while i was looking him straight in the eyes the whole time.

after that..he never left the studio ;)

i have songs on my Album that was suppose to go for Rihanna and even Britney Spears..!

i love my album! so excited finally for everyone to hear it! its deff... everything that i represent.

i am Shooting Down On the Floor, music video in 3 weeks!!!!

had a huge smile waking up Christmas eve, smelling the amazing food my mother was making,

i had to really stop for a minute and realize how precious that moment was. Christmas always meant in my childhood the time, when to believe in love, and magic. I remember when i was around 8, and i was waiting at my window, looking in the dark sky, waiting for Santa to bring our presents. What totally crushed me, was when i saw my father carrying a big bag and leaving it on the front door, ringing the bell, and running behind the corner... i swear....i was so disappointed, i remember that picture so well...that i almost wish i would have not ever seen it.. i wanted to believe in Santa so bad. i wanted to believe in magic .. ...

this is something that i am really proud of. When i am in USA, and showing pictures of these amazing lights, to my friends, they can not believe it..they say its Photoshop.lol.... you might have seen a lot in your life, but not many of you, have ever seen these in real life...its like the whole Universe in your eyes. and i really ask my self, how can you not appreciate the beautiful life around you. When God created something like this.. just for us. This is magic.

"8 years ago, i understood first time the definition of Love."

This next post is so personal to me that, i was not sure.. if i would share it.

The biggest inspiration of my life since i was a little child was my Grandfather.

Today.. its been 8 years since he passed away.

He was the guy who fight aganist Saddam Hussein with our Kurdish leader Barzani.

When he was still fighting, He got shot to his ear,loosing his other eye and he became almost deaf... he also suffered for really bad asthma..that in the end took his life.

I remember back home, when i was a little kid, before going to sleep, on our roof top, watching the clear dark sky, with shiny stars... i would hear my grandfathers prayers... singing from mosque. His voice was like silk.....the whole village would be crying.

I also remember how loving my Grandfather was... i learned from him to love animals and respect everything that God created.

Once we were sitting out side of his garden that he absolutely loved. He greated every single flower and fruit tree with love.

I saw aunts running in line to their little whole.. and i started smacking them with my shoe, trying to kill them all....he raised his voice saying "Helan, stop it!.....they are little life's and souls in this world too, why would you hurt such a small innocent thing, that God created with love"

i NEVER EVER.......

forgot that. it build me to learn to love. today i cant even hurt a little bug. ill rather carry it out from my window then kill it.

He was such a loving, wise and funny guy, who wanted nothing else then everyone to live in peace. Even they didn't have a lot, he would still share food for others.

I loved his funny words...and even he was old, he had that wink in his eye, where ever he would go, Everyone knew his name and he was very loved and respected, he was the oldest fighter still alive. He was very sick and in pain, with out any good medicine... i always feared the day when he would be gone. What would i do with out his advice.

When he passed away, we saw his funerals from satellite, Kurdistan TV all the way to Finland.... there was hundreds of Kurdish people from different city's who came to honor him. I never knew how big he really was...i always heard his stories from the war..but until i saw all those people carrying his coffin and our Kurdish leader Barzani thanked him for his years fighting next to him. It all made me so proud to see how many people felt his love and respected him....and how many peoples life he had touched.. i said to my self, i wanna be that...one day,when its my time.

Even today when we go back..and if my mother tells someone she is Ahmad Zhana`s daughter they will all know who he was, specially the older population.

This must be the youngest picture i have of him...btw. can you believe that my mother dont know the day or the year she was born... isn't it funny? back then no one really cared..we guess her age to be around 38-40, she had me when she was around 18. Also i dont have not even one picture of me,when i was a baby..well remember that i was born in Persian Gulf war..no one really had the time taking pictures,when you need to be running for your life. lol :)

One day when ill be having a son, his name will be Zhana. He inspires me so so much!

he always asked to have nothing on his grave...

only us to come, read Koran for him...

if one thing i learned from him .... to never stop fighting for love, humanity, justice, and always share your love and wisdom, inspire others.

This picture makes me smile every time i see it.....its magical, the bright lights tells me everything he fight for. and i know..

he is in heaven.

1 - Breeders & Puppy Mills
Despite the massive overpopulation of pets in America the breeders and the puppy mills churn out pets 24 hours a day to make a buck, or in many cases, a lot of bucks. The way to shut down the breeders and the puppy mills is simple, just Adopt from your local Shelter or Rescue instead of buying from a pet store or breeder.

2 - Failure to Spay/Neuter
People who fail to spay/neuter their pets are another huge part of the overpopulation problem. Cats and dog, left unfixed, will breed. Unless you want 10 new cats of your own, or 8 new puppies, then get your pets fixed because if you do not then the chances are that most of those little ones will end up right here on Pet Pardons with a kill date.

3 - Owner Surrender
If you have kids you make plans for them in case something happens to you. If you have pets you must do the same thing, otherwise, again, they end up at the Shelter with a kill date. If you cannot afford to keep a pet then do not get one in the first place. A pet is a lifetime commitment not a disposable fashion accessory.

4 - People Who Buy Pets
When you buy a pet, no matter where you buy that pet from, you are supporting the breeders and the puppy mill owners. Please, never ever buy, always Adopt, i promise you that whatever pet you want there is one waiting for you in a shelter or rescue today. If you have never Adopted a pet then you have missed out on the most amazing feeling, it's that feeling of saving a life. Ask anyone who has done it, they will tell you the same, that pet will repay you with a lifetime of love and affection
